Clipped Wings Series in Order

Hunting’s debut series follows tattoo artists and the people they fall for. It is more emotional and angsty than her later comedies.

Clipped Wings (2014). Tattoo artist Hayden Stryker uses his ink and steel as armour while he tries to move on from a world-shattering loss. When twenty-one-year-old Tenley Page, who is battling demons of her own, asks him to tattoo her skin, the pair begin an intense relationship that her past threatens to destroy.

Inked Armor (2014). This sequel continues Hayden and Tenley’s story as Hayden is haunted by nightmares about the murder of his parents. He has to confront his guilt if he wants to keep the woman who finally cracked his armor.

Fractures in Ink (2016). Sarah Adamson waits tables at a seedy strip club to pay her tuition and does not need the distraction of the hot tattoo artist who works across the street. It is a standalone set in the Clipped Wings world, so you can read it without the first two books.

Pucked Series in Order

The Pucked series is Hunting’s best-known work, following the players, partners and friends of an NHL team with plenty of humor. Each main book centers on a different couple, so the series works as standalones, though returning characters make it more fun in order.

Pucked (2015). Violet Hall has a famous NHL player for a stepbrother, so she is sure she is not interested in team captain Alex Waters. When Alex proves how wrong she is about hockey players, a one-night stand becomes a courtship of calls, texts and quirky gifts that Violet cannot ignore.

Pucked Up (2015). After five years in the NHL, Miller “Buck” Butterson is tired of scoring with puck bunnies and decides he wants a real girlfriend. His manwhore reputation is a problem for Sunny Waters, a teammate’s sister, so he has to do far more than show off in the bedroom.

Pucked Over (2016). NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom, until he meets Lily LeBlanc, Sunny’s best friend. Lily has just left a seven-year relationship that left her doubting herself, and Randy’s reasons for how he behaves turn out to run deep.

Forever Pucked (2016). Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest-paid player in the league, is awesome for Violet. The nerves that keep her from setting a wedding date are the problem in this continuation of Violet and Alex’s story.

Pucked Under (2016). A novella in which the whole crew drives to Alex and Violet’s Chicago cottage for a relaxing weekend before training camp. Randy and Lily are head-over-heels in love, but Randy hopes the break will help him shake the anxiety that has been bothering him.

Get Inked (2016). A crossover novella that brings the Pucked players into the Clipped Wings world. When Randy decides he wants a new tattoo sleeve, the rest of the boys decide to get a team tattoo, and the Pucked girls insist on joining in.

Pucked Off (2017). NHL defenseman Lance “Romance” Romero has the most penalty minutes in the league and a reputation for parties and excess. He knows he is toxic, but the girl whose first kiss he was at a party she should not have been at lights up his dark.

Pucked Love (2018). Darren and Charlene’s story starts after their meet-cute, so the book skips straight to the part where they fall from lust into love. It also lets you spend more time with the Pucked family.

Where It Begins (2023). A novella prequel to the series about Skye and Sidney Butterson, the parents of Vi and Miller, who are teens when their parents start dating. It begins with a mix-up of coffee orders and a very awkward first conversation.

Bonus collections: Area 51 (2016) and Pucks & Penalties (2019) gather deleted scenes and outtakes from the series, and Pucks & Penalties also includes the full Get Inked novella.

Shacking Up Series in Order

Rom-coms set in New York, each following a different couple, with a recurring cast of friends.

When her best friend finds her a job pet-sitting in a penthouse, the owner, hotel magnate Bancroft Mills, turns out to be the same stranger.

Hooking Up (2017). Amalie Whitfield is a blushing bride until she and her guests hear her new husband with someone else at the reception. In a moment of insanity she throws herself at the first hot man she sees, but he does not want to be her revenge fling.

Getting Down (2018). A hilarious, steamy short story set in the Shacking Up world, originally published in the Eye Candy anthology. It is a quick way to spend more time with the characters.

I Flipping Love You (2018). Rian Sutter grew up with the finer things, and now she and her sister are getting their finances back on track by flipping houses. When a sexy man in a suit checks her out in the grocery store, she thinks it might be her lucky day.

Making Up (2019). Cosy Felton is great at her job and knows how to handle the awkwardness of working at an adult toy store. This standalone, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy continues the story arc begun in I Flipping Love You.

Handle With Care (2019). Lincoln Moorehead has spent most of his life avoiding his messy family, including his parents’ marriage and his narcissistic younger brother. He wants to lose control, and this scandal-filled romantic comedy gives him the chance.

Dude in Distress (2021). A short story about a road trip that starts with a broken-down car and ends with a questionable motel, an indoor campout and a set of Kama Sutra sheets.

All In Series in Order

Sports romances set in the NHL, each with its own couple.

A Lie for a Lie (2019). NHL team captain Rook leaves Chicago for a few weeks of peace and is surprised when a gorgeous woman falls into his lap on a flight to Alaska. She has no idea who he is, which is exactly why he lets a little white lie slip, and it turns out she has secrets of her own.

A Favor for a Favor (2020). After joining Seattle’s NHL expansion team, Bishop finds that nothing goes as expected. When Stevie wants to prove she does not need her brother’s help, she agrees to trade a favor for a favor after Bishop injures himself at a game.

A Secret for a Secret (2020). A romance about trading secrets, breaking the rules and playing for keeps. One of its characters discovers that their whole existence has been a lie.

A Kiss for a Kiss (2021). Jake and Hanna’s story, which brings readers back into the All In world. It is the fourth and final book in the series.

Lies, Hearts & Truths Series in Order

Angsty new adult hockey romances written under the byline H. Hunting, each following a different couple.

Little Lies (2020). Kodi once broke Lavender Waters’s heart so she would be free of him, and years later she is no longer the meek girl he left behind. She makes it impossible for him to avoid her, and the lies he told himself start to unravel.

Bitter Sweet Heart (2022). Maverick and Clover’s story begins when a lecturer serves her ex divorce papers and pulls a gorgeous stranger into a lake from her paddleboard. She decides to bend her rules, until term starts and she discovers he is a student on her campus.

Shattered Truths (2023). BJ and Winter’s angsty, spicy standalone is the third book in the series. It includes cameos from earlier Helena Hunting characters.

Lakeside Series in Order

Small-town romances set in Pearl Lake.

Love Next Door (2021). Being back in Pearl Lake after all these years feels familiar to the heroine, until she notices that someone new has shown up at the cottage next door. The pair have spent summers next to each other without ever meeting, and the attraction builds fast.

Spark House Series in Order

Starry-Eyed Love (2022). Having just broken up with her boyfriend, London Spark is not in the mood to be hit on, so she hands back the number of a very attractive stranger who bought her drinks. As the business administrator of Spark House, she has bigger concerns, but Jackson’s secretive past keeps pulling her back in.

Make a Wish (2023). Seven years after a nanny job ended with an almost-kiss, Harley Spark is shocked when single father Gavin Rhodes and his daughter Peyton turn up at Spark House. They decide to try dating, but Gavin is still grieving his wife and his former mother-in-law dislikes Harley.

Toronto Terror Series in Order

Hunting’s newest hockey series follows players of the fictional Toronto Terror. Each book is a standalone with the team and its families woven through, so characters you meet early return later.

If You Hate Me (2024). After rage-quitting her job, a woman moves in with her older brother and his best friend, Tristan Stiles, a pro hockey player with a filthy reputation and no sense of when to wear a shirt. She had a crush on him at fourteen, but now they fight constantly and the line between hate and love gets thin.
