The Man with a Book in One Hand and a Life in the Other
If my life were a book, its genre would be “Literary Fiction with a Twist.” It’s a story of calculated risks, passionate pivots, and a steadfast belief that it’s never too late to rewrite your own narrative. From the structured world of high finance to the creative chaos of content strategy, and now to building this cozy corner of the internet, my journey has been anything but linear. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Chapters of My Life (So Far)
🏦 Chapter 1: The Banker
For nine years, I lived in a world of spreadsheets, financial models, and bottom lines. It taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, analysis, and understanding complex systems—skills that, surprisingly, translate perfectly into dissecting a novel’s plot structure or optimizing a website for readers.
✍️ Chapter 2: The SEO & Content Strategist
I traded financial reports for content calendars, leveraging my analytical skills in a new arena. My current expertise lies in the fascinating and impactful world of healthcare and regenerative medicine. It’s a field where clarity, empathy, and precision are paramount—much like writing a compelling book review. This work satisfies my intellectual curiosity and allows me to create content that genuinely helps people.
❤️ Chapter 3: The Family Man
This is the most important chapter. I am, first and foremost, a dedicated husband and father.
- My Wife: My best friend and my first reader. She’s the reason any of this is possible, and the calm center around which our beautiful chaos orbits. (Yes, my book piles sometimes invade her space. Love is compromise!)
- My Kids: My 16-year-old son, a fellow bookworm who constantly challenges my taste in sci-fi. My fiercely creative 11-year-old daughter, who teaches me to see stories with wonder. And our fearless 2-year-old toddler, whose current favorite “book” is probably being held upside down. They are my ultimate motivation and my greatest adventure.
The Passions That Fill the Pages
Outside of family and work, my identity is a collection of passionate hobbies:
- Theater Enthusiast: There is nothing like the raw, immediate energy of live theater. I love everything from sweeping musicals to intimate, gritty plays. It’s a reminder of the power of live storytelling.
- Former Athlete: My days as a cricketer and footballer are behind me, but they instilled in me a love for teamwork, strategy, and the thrill of a hard-fought game.
- Unapologetic Nerd: My hobbies are a holy trinity:
- Music: My playlists range from classic rock to film scores to Bengali folk. Music is the soundtrack to my reading sessions.
- Movies: I appreciate cinema as a visual storytelling art form. A well-shot film is a cousin to a well-written book.
- Gaming: From immersive RPGs that feel like playing a novel to competitive strategy games, gaming is my interactive storytelling escape.
